Spring of 2017, we decided to head out to the desert and see the Grand Canyon. We had an absolute blast. It was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. The photos and video cannot even begin to present the real beauty. You must go see it for yourself. However, I hope that these images provide a glimpse of what you can see, and motivate you to make the trip for your self.

During our visit, we spent some time in the desert as well. Our guide was an extreme sports enthusiast so we were lucky enough to go up into the mountains, through the desert and across the dry lake bed. He was also an advocate for protecting the desert and the animals that call it home. It was an absolute blast as well as a learning experience. We are looking for an excuse to go back as soon as possible. The folks at American Adventure Tours took great care of us.

During our travels, we made a quick stop by the Hoover Dam. The sheer size of this man made structure leaves you awe struck. Thought I would post a couple of pictures as another teaser of why you should work your way west.
